Tracy Tolliver is an actor, writer and producer known for playing strong, conflicted female characters. She has been featured on OWN's Queen Sugar and TV One's Fatal Attraction. The charismatic actor brings drama, wit and a hint of contradiction to her roles.
With a knack for storytelling she decided to start writing, and producing her own projects. First as an executive producer for the short "Dear Sister" then as writer and producer for the award-winning short "Diva, Interrupted," which was inspired by her own story as a divorcee suddenly forced to navigate life as a single mom.
Tracy was first bitten by the showbiz bug after watching reruns of the old Mickey Mouse club, her childhood dream was to be a Mouseketeer. She still loves acting just as much as writing and producing, but she also feels that it's important for women, especially women of color to be behind the camera well as in front. Tracy believes that being in control of the images and the narratives that represent us on screen is vital for the growth and future of the industry.
